Today is special, 13th and Friday, black? hehe, sorry, I am just trying to be funny.

Today is special, because it the boss's Birthday? hehe. kidding, sorry again.

Today is not special, but yesterday.

 

Because of the boss's birthday, as the only intern around, I went down to UIC building, picking up the order of his lunch, which is lobsters and sharks fin soup, costing $200 plus, for him alone.

In the afternoon, other staff bought a Hagen Daaz ice cream cake for him, and I of course got a share. The cake is made of ice cream, 100%, without any cake in fact. It is sweet, as all other Hagen Daaz stuff. And I can really not remember how many cakes I had since intern.

 

It is just free the whole morning, and super busy in the afternoon. Finally got a chance to do something. A lot arguing with analysts and consultant. Got OT again, and free cab, almost the most meaningful and cheerful day since intern.

 

Watching friends now, but no smile at all, for whatever reason, sorry.
